Women in the Arts – Art Basel 2024

In my role at Modern Luxury Media, I actively coordinated and executed the Women in the Arts event during Art Basel 2024. I was deeply involved in every stage, from pre-event logistics and on-site execution to post-event breakdown, ensuring a smooth and unforgettable experience for all attendees.

Pre-Event Preparation

  • Organized and packed all necessary inventory, including event essentials such as alcohol, directional signage, sponsorship pop-up menus, and Ocean Drive magazines.

  • Arrived on-site at 7 AM to oversee and assist with vendor and sponsor setup.

  • Directed the florist on table arrangements to align with the event’s aesthetic vision.

  • Placed directional signage strategically to guide guests smoothly through the venue.

  • Assisted in last-minute speechwriting for my boss, ensuring impactful messaging for the audience.

On-Site Event Coordination

  • Managed inventory setup, including sponsorship materials, menus, and bar arrangements.

  • Coordinated with models for the event’s fashion show, ensuring timely and efficient wardrobe changes.

  • Maintained clear communication with vendors, sponsors, and building management to uphold event flow and brand alignment.

Post-Event Breakdown

  • Oversaw the efficient breakdown of the event, ensuring all inventory was accounted for and properly stored.

  • Located and coordinated the use of the Amara Paraiso storage room for temporary inventory placement.

  • Arranged and managed the pickup logistics with delivery teams to clear the venue post-event.
